We started Bailey Squared in October 2014 as a creative outlet for our love of all things fitness and running. We wanted to be able to share our views as well as tips and tricks to others not only while we are on our journey to be fit but long after that. We came up with the name because, well there are two of us. We hope you enjoy our blog, don’t be shy we love when you leave us comments or email us questions.

Thanks for taking the time to check out our site. I’m just an average guy that likes being fit and living a healthy lifestyle and hopefully I can help some people along the way.
In my college years I routinely spent time in the gym to build the body I wanted. After I graduated, the real life started. Starting my career, working full time, getting married all took a toll on my fitness and well being. Adjusting to the new lifestyle took away from my gym time. I became lazy and just didn’t spend any time working out or eating healthy and it showed.
Now a days I’m taking the time to rebuild what I have lost. I’m getting back to my healthy and fit ways. At the beginning of the year I knew it was time to turn things around. Not a resolution but a new lifestyle. One that I lived before and knew well. I have also picked up running as a new hobby. I was never much of a runner but towards the end of 2014 I ran my first half marathon. Now with a several halves under my belt I have a full marathon scheduled later this year.
I’d be happy for everyone to join me as I continue to improve my physique and set new PR’s in races. Find motivation through my posts and show everyone some fun things along the way.
